Set and Costume Design
Werther is an opera (drame lyrique) in four acts by Jules Massenet. The opera is loosely based on the German Romantic novel The Sorrows of Young Werther by Goethe. Werther was set in a contemporary setting using an abstract space with a strong sense of colour, evoking moods, character emotion and the passage of time past through the seasons.
